Park City, Utah is one of the most charismatic and underestimated cities in the US. With a history deeply rooted in the mining rush, Park City has become known more for its "white gold" than its silver.

The first world record set in Park City was in 1931 by Alf Engen at Ecker Hill for his 247 foot jump. He would go on to set four additional world records from the very same spot. In 1946, the first lift was installed in the area now known as Deer Valley. The origins of Park City as we know it today began in 1963 when the government and other contributors gave $2 million used to start the Treasure Mountain Resort (now Park City Mountain Resort).

As the first gondola and chairlifts were opened, it soon became evident that Park City's most valuable asset doesn't come from a mine. As the years have progressed, the city's reputation has grown for being one of the most exceptional winter playgrounds for snowboarders and ski enthusiasts around the world. The introduction of world-class ski resorts and amenities as well as the Sundance Film Festival, have brought an international focus to this quiet and culturally diverse mountain community.

AERIE

Like the name suggests, this area is highly coveted for its lofty position on the mountain overlooking Old Town and Prospector. The many spacious and elegant residences that fill the neighborhood enjoy amazing views of Park City and its world-class ski resorts. Another benefit of living in Aerie is the convenient access to shops, restaurants and parks, all while maintaining a sense of seclusion from the bustle of town.

DEER CREST

A gated community on the eastern border of Deer Valley, the luxurious, well-appointed homes and condominiums enjoy ski-in/ski-out privileges and views of the ski runs and Jordanelle Reservoir. This area will become home to the St. Regis Hotel, set to open in Summer 2009. Deer Crest is a quiet and secluded neighborhood that boasts close proximity to town and nightlife.

EMPIRE CANYON/FLAGSTAFF

Situated at the top of the Deer Valley ski area, Empire Canyon/Flagstaff is one of the newest development areas in Park City. As such, some of the finest ski-in/ski-out opportunities can be found here in single family homes and condominiums.

GLENWILD

Tucked away from the flurry of town, this private, gated golf community has been rated as one of the top 100 golf communities by Travel and Leisure golf magazine. The course has also been ranked #1 in the state multiple times. Residences in this area enjoy a quiet, rural mountain setting while keeping the close access to ski resorts and I-80.

Real estate here consists of single family homes and condominiums with a mostly Victorian design influence.

SILVER CREEK

Other parts of the Silver Creek area feature rural homes with a more rustic, cabin feel and privacy, some with only seasonal access.

SUMMIT PARK

Perched atop Parley's Summit, this area's higher elevation will see the winter last a little longer while enjoying the picturesque views available here.
